RV275 Owners....especially with a comp....
I love the 275s with my EZ. Like previously stated, it really woke the truck up. My EGTs aren't anything to really worry about either. Maybe up to 1100 towing up a grade. Idles just like stock, but the power is really there when you want it. I got mine off of EBAY for 295.00. I think they shipped for 305 or 310 all together. And they didn't smoke at all untill I changed the setting on my EZ to #2. Now they smoke just a little when I really get on it.
I have a comp with the wire tapped and 275's and I need more air bad. If I dont pay real close attention to the pyro I can peg it real quick.I really wish I would have gone with bigger injectors now that I know that I need more turbo. I knew that before I even put them in though. I ran my box as a EZ for a while and couldnt get it above 1100 no matter how hard I tried.
I am getting the HTB2 62/12, and am going to try it with 275's for about a month when I get home, then see if I need bigger ones. I'm on the search for bigger ones just in case, but I think the 275's will be good with that turbo. It won't be dumping so much fuel as to squelch the fire, if you will.
I ran a comp and 275's on a stock tranny and a stock HY35. I put a valvebody in the tranny and never had an issue with it. The stock turbo definately can't support the 275/comp combo though. I could peg 1500* very rapidly. A new turbo solved that problem. I put down over 370hp with that combo. I miss that combo. Very smooth, very powerful, and got great mileage.
