RV275 Owners....especially with a comp....

How do you like them? Would you buy these again or go with something different? My truck is mostly a DD, but I tow my Wrangler around with it too. What would you suggest?

Prices/where to get them?

Thanks ALL!

If you have a stock tranny, with the 275's and a comp wire tap will be pushing it. heck a comp wire tap is pushing a stocker. I would up grade the tranny and get bigger sticks than 275's if it were me. some machs or if you need cheaper some jammers would work nicely. OOOO then you will need more air (bigger turbo) it's all one big rat race

The truck is waitin on the new trans....probably a stage 3 from ATS. (valve body tc and lock up) So that's on....Plus a new fp gauge.

I don't really want to do all that much more to the truck....i was thinking these would be a good mild mod and I could have a reliable truck w/ a lot of power. Would I need to watch egts with the 275 and a comp tapped??

I have a set of them in my truck and I love them. so far I only have 80 miles on them but I really do like them, with the chip it sure wakes the truck up. the only thing I seam to notic a little boging down of the motor around 1100-1200 but that I think is turbo lag. other than that I wish i replaced them sooner.

I'll tell you this-
My 275's, Comp on 1x1 with p-wire unplugged, I have to drive by the pyro with my pop-up truck camper on it.
Do you have the Comp hooked up with your stock injectors now?

WIRE IS TAPPED.
I've heard these work well and idle just like the sock ones. Am I wrong?
WHAT have people seen....I want the good, the bad and event he ugly?

What are your temps now?
They idle smooth. The issue will be the heat with your HY turbo.
I'm telling you that first hand. That is why I am getting a new one.

With my set up, I barely hit 1000 egt's. Only time I did was towing up a hill and I started lugging the engine. I believe my set up is a really good tow setup with a stock turbo.

The Smarty is probably a better bet with towing than the Comp is.

wire tap + hy + bigger injectors = high EGT's you won't have bad idle with any good sticks even up to 200 + hp over stock you just need the air to cool them

I have to watch EGT's always when towing with just an EZ/275's. Empty not a problem but towing is another matter.

I fully intend on turning to box off for towing.....i think that means it'sjust a boost fooler...right?

I have higher egts, but nothing too bad, 1250 max I'm pretty sure.

275 will be just fine. You'll just have to run the box one level lower, and drive by the pyro a bit if 1x1 is still too toasty.

buddy of mine is running the 275's with tapped comp with a s300 turbo and WOW does that thing move. he has the bd tranny in it and it throws u back in the seat and not bad at all for smoke. a real solid performance feel to it.
