RV275 Injector Part#

How do you purchase the RV275 injectors from a Cummins Dealer?. From the info I gathered on the ISB, this injector is stock for another version of the engine. Maybe I'm wrong, happens often.

They say that I need the engine serial number to get the part. I think that I just need the Cummins part number if it exists.

Found the part number, but can I get them from a Cummins Dealer without the serial number.? (0432191635 Bosch)

Certainly.

Cummins uses the ESN to make sure the parts you're getting match your particular engine. With all the various ratings of their engines, using the ESN helps the parts guys figure out *exactly* which version you've got.

If you have a specific part number, then no need to search by ESN to find it.....make sense?

Is it cheaper to purchase them from a dealer than to get them say off of an Ebay seller? I've seen them go for pretty cheap lately

Local Cummins dealer refused to sell the part without the ESN. Said if I wanted to mod the truck to go to local performance dealer down the street. I think they are in bed together. Went 40 miles the other way and found them at a fair price from what I've seen. Had to look in a different phone book.

Now I am happy!!!!!
