RV-275s

I know this has been talked about before but I thumbed though and couldn't really find anything substantial and directly related to my question. Ive got an EZ and im just looking to complete the setup with a set of 275s. I like the way it runs now and the only thing im worried about is ive heard that the injectors are kinda unreliable. What does this mean. Does it make it hard to start or something?

i've had mine for a short while now - no problems whatsoever. drivability increased to what i was expecting, nothing more/nothing less. can't complain at all for the prices they sell for.

i had the xzt+ prior to adding the 275's. the xzt+ has the same power as the EZ. i turned the box off right after the injectors were in, and it drove as if the box was turned on. turned the box back on, and it put a smile on my face. not a huge increase in power, but very noticeable. i don't notice it much from a stand-still, but i sure notice it on the highway for passing power . . .

My neighbor's had his in for 100,000+ miles now. No issues. He got a Van Aaken box with them. That alone tells you how long they've been in.

My 275's have approx 200k on them. Never had an issue with them nor have I ever heard they are unreliable. They may not be the most popular due to their lower hp output (40ish hp) and they may be a bit smokier than say some f1's. However they are also 1/2 the price. I dont know what they cost now but I picked mine up years ago installed for 300.00.

An EZ and 275's is a great combo

That's about as far as you can go on a stocker. Load, gear ratio and tire size affect the clutches lifespan also.

ive got 410s or 411s whichever comes in these. So that will def help me. I think I may have an after-market clutch as well due to the fact that I know my truck was a tow rig in its previous life. It had a few towing goodies on it when I bought it. Only option was cruise control, the low rear end, trailer brake controller, rubber floors, extra overload spring in the back, adjustable boost elbow elbow, and the fith wheel looks like its pretty warn. So i think i have a bigger clutch too. I def hope so at least.

No problems with my Bosch 300's. Just as reliable as the stock sticks. Gains are noticeable, and have been a great addition. Other than on my test drive with the injectors and my Quadzilla installed and on stage 3 i did manage to blow my turbo's compressor wheel into 5 pieces.... It was on its way out already.. So it wasnt totally cause by the 300's.

I may get the southbend clutch in soon and try out some Mach 1's or DDP's.
Ohh yeah and head studs...

I bought a used set from a member on here ran them for a few years and they were great. I just had them popped at a shop and they were still in spec. I also plow snow (cold weather) had them in for 3 winters and they it always started fine. Also the super cheap ones on ebay maybe the Chinese cheap ones i would get the better ones.

My stocker held that combo and a fuel box stacked on it until i towed, then it would slip in 5th so i would unhook the ez for towing, but run the stack empty with no problems.

That setup will be great for mileage.
