i am trying to rotate the exhaust side housing and it wont turn after loosening the bolts, i have tried heating the housing some but it still doesnt break free....are there any tricks to doing this?

 

They usually get pretty seized together. Try pounding on it with a rubber mallet or a hammer and a wood block, try and back one side straight out first to break it free. If it doesn't work, just keep pounding... it will come out.

 

Whoa! Did I read your signature right? You have a 900+lb engine in an F150? Does it have the twin-I front suspension?

As to your question... Matt is right, just pound on it with a rubber mallet and it should free up.
