On the rollers again

I cant seem to break the 500 rwhp mark. Best to date is 499.9. After I lock up in third I have to roll into it to avoid kicking down. So today I as soon as I lock up I am going to hit my lu switch and hammer down. Do you all think Ill put down a bigger # doing this?

Thanks Mooseman

Good question! I would think so.
I've always assumed Dynojets determine HP/TQ based on acceleration of a known Drum weight... Don't see how else they could do it...but not positive.

This is a new mustang I'm running on today and I have no clue how it figures it #s.
Ill try switch on and switch off and see if it makes any diff.
I'm also going to do a couple runs with the comp unplugged from the map sensor to see if there is a diff there also.

Gotta figure that this is being done at 4,000 feet (maybe more, not sure on Ogden's exact altitude),
how accurate is the Mustang's correction factor?

Unplugging the map with the comp is fun aint it. I love sitting at idle and revving it and seeing a huge cloud of smoke come out. I might have to tap the wire again just so I can run with the map unplugged.

Its alot of fun and my runs today show that it puts out a little more hp. It felt like it did but until today I didnt believe it.

It made a nice improvement in my bottom end. Never noticed much on the top end though. Hmm. Might have to try a couple of things at the next dyno.
