Replacing BHAF, box question..

I'm going to replace my BHAF, with a cold air intake set-up. Almost sold on the AFE pro-gaurd7 stage 2 set-up. But has anyone have any input on the new brute force dry filter set-up?

Why go to a different box? Just build a good air box for your BHAF, add the AFE torque tube, and maybe even swap out the 2790 filter for a better flowing filter. I'm sure you can get the filter itself from any of the big filter companies.

I reccommend the new Amsoil universal cone style air filters. They don't flow as much air as an oil guaze type filter like the AFE or K&N, but they ACTUALLY filter the incoming air. They do outflow the 2790 though, they are a happy medium between the two types of filters. The Amsoil filter is made of a thin nanofiber synthetic media that does not require oil and is also reusable and cleaned with compressed air.
