replaceable track bar ends
replaceable track bar ends
Tried searching and came up with nothing. My track bar has removeable/adjustable ends on it.The ball end on the frame needs replacing but I can't figure out who makes this track bar and where it came from.Any ideas on who's track bar this is? It has a lock nut on each end to lock the adjustable ends. The tie rod end has a blue boot on it if thats a clue.
Thanks for any help or hints

on my 95 I chopped off both ends and welded on homemade ones, I used chromoly tubing and off the shelf standard urethane bushings and pins. Then made a new mount to the frame upper end, used the stock mount on the lower. took me about 4 hours, the real hassle was choping out the upper stock mount. So far no cracks etc. all good.
The lukes link is a bandaid for the factory style bar- the OP CLEARLY has a custom replacement he is trying to identify.... I doubt also that the previous owner made it themself as well.
OP- can you post a pic of it? might help identify it.

I know what a Luke's Link is, no where in the post do I see where the OP CLEARLY knows what he has. Luke's Link ends can be used in some aftermarket track bars

Not until he posted the picture can we tell it's ball/socket and not heim joints. You assumed it was a factory style bar, I assumed it was not. The only adjustable end I have ever seen with the factory style ball end is the red one on eBay and it's only adjustable on one end. I had no doubt YOU knew what a LL is, but the OP probably didn't, and anyone I can save from wasting the time/effort/money on a LL for their track bar is worth it. Been there, done that. Product is good quality, company is awesome, concept in that location is flawed because the root problem is not addressed- it's still an inferior designed bar end.
I agree with RowJ- it's essentially a factory bar- same ends just adjustable length. Never seen that particular bar before - possibly a part number on the end that could be looked up- most likely a stock tie rod end in a modified bar.
I'd look to replace it with a better design.
