removing the section of restrictive tube to turbo

I was told to remove the section of restrictive tube going to the turbo, what did you use? Does it help to remove this?

Re:removing the section of restrictive tube to turbo

Because of all the responses I 've gotten to my question it looks like someone gave me some bad advice.
They told me to remove that section of tubing (plastic) that has the restrictions inside and replace it with straight tubing, it is a section of the tubing that runs from the airbox to the turbo.

Re:removing the section of restrictive tube to turbo

Nick,

I messed with the tube on my 03, and at lower HP settings (340 and down), removing the baffle from the tube did absolutely nothing for EGTs or power. Some of the vendors who have been pounding more power out of their 03s than we have may have had different results...

Rod
