Removing a Pac Brake

My truck had this on it when I bought it and I never tow anything heavy enough to make use of it. I assume that with the mods on the truck and (hopefully) mods on the way that the pac brake elbow is going to become a bottle neck in my exhaust system. I didn't install the kit so I was wondering what was all involved in removing it? I know the elbow would need replaced along with the wiring and solenoids in the engine bay, but is there some sort of head unit or anything else I may miss? Possibly any links to a step by step install that I can do in reverse?

the pacbrake isnt a bottleneck in your exhaust system. i have always had one, and my power level is just fine.

Agreed.

If you were looking to make some money selling it, or something I could see. Overall it should be a nice selling point if you were ever to get rid of the truck.

Other than the elbow itself there are two relays, the compressor tank, related wiring and switch. So, yes, reverse the directions.

No interest in just using to increase your brake component life?
