Removing head a few ?'s

Is there a special trick to getting the pushrods out of # 5 and 6. They are just about to come out but they hit the firewall.

Does anyone have the torque sequence that has been proven for the ARP studs I did a search and found many conflicting answers.I will be doing studs and the marine gasket.

My truck had plastic plugs in the firewall but thats for a 02 truck. Its still abit of work to wiggle everything into place.

I am pretty sure (atleast on my 94) when i was doing the studs on it. There should be two rubber plugs in the Cowl that you have to remove that the studs/push rods will beable to travel up more so you can get them out. Someone correct me if i am wrong but thats what i have always thought it was for.
