relocating the battery

I am in the process of buildind a set of twins and my question is when you guys have moved your battery to make room for the air cleaner, did you reuse the stock battery tray and modify it of did you fab up a whole new tray? I tried doing a search and came up with nothing found pics of the batteries moved but I can't see the tray to see how it was done.
Thanks in advance,
Joe

I guess it depends on what your One battery is. I think a lot of guys are running an Odyssey and I believe its footprint will sit in the factory tray with no issues. It costs about the same as two batteries however.

I wish I could give you personal experience but my BD twins don't require giving up a battery.

I've got a buddy that only runs one battery on his '01 and has no troubles even in temps around 10 degrees. Mine on the other hand sounds like it struggles with 2 new batteries in the dead heat of summer.
