redline box?

has anybody heard of one of these things for a 24v? i was reading something about it and i cant find where i was reading about it at! something about letting the 24v rev over 4,000rpms? or maybe i was reading something totally different and i have it all mixed up!!! set me straight fellas!!!

It let you rev up to 4000 i think, its from bluechip. I know there is an article over on the TDR somewhere.

you can have a longer power range, longer hang time in the gears (a good thing for a manual). It's better for sled pullers. Plus it's .

You can't cruise at that though, can you? I thought the redline was about 1000 RPM below that?

The redline box according to Blue Chip will allow the 24v motors to fully fuel to 4000 rpm. The box is very aggressive and not for street use...... But, anyone who owns a 24v should not push their motors past the normal rpm range without serious valvetrain upgrades! The OEM springs that are used are hardly adequate for the engine let alone adding rpm and increased boost. There are some very good components available for the valvetrain its just that they are BIG $$.
