Recommend a 315/75R16 tire with mild tread, please..

I'm wanting to upgrade to larger tires (and get the taller gearing), but I don't wan't a killer off-road tread.

I'm thinking so far of:

BFG A/Ts
Nitto TerraGrapplers
Cooper ATs

If you have any of these or know of others I should consider, please reply.

Thanks.

Justin

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp

GO HERE and click on the type of tire you want they have many options in each catagory along with surveys, test and customer accounts its a very use full tool

The best part is the pit the tires of the same catagoy against each other .

Got Wild Country XTX 315/75R16 M+S. This is a great tire and has no road noise. Good load capacity and long tire life.

I forgot one tire that would meet all your requirements. The Michelin LTX MS.

If they do, it's news to me. I've only seen a 285 as their biggest M/s..

MasterCraft Courser C/Ts.

my 305/70-16s went 53K before I removed them to do the H2 wheel upgrade with 33x12.5R17s. My old tires are now on another truck and will probably go for 10K more. For the Price they are hard to beat.

Ok...maybe not all your requirements Although 285's look good too. I was running 285's for the past few sets.

I've got Big O Big Foot XT's. Looks like a pretty rugged Off road tread, but they're quiet on the road, and handle really well. Tear through snow like it's nothing, but mildly sketchy on ice, but that's to be expected from any tire that's 315mm wide.... I've got 45k out of mine and i expect to see another 20k from them. Lifetime warranty included, if i somehow hit a box of nails while there's still at least 2/32's of tread left, i get a brand new tire, no questions asked whatsoever, don't even have to show paperwork.

I've got the Terra Grapplers in that size and so far, they've been a great tire. No road noise and great handling, wet or dry. I've only got about 10K or so miles on them but they still look brand new.
