Rear problems need options
Rear problems need options
Well ive been having speed sensor troubles for a while. Ive been talkin with a mechanic friend and we think my posi has crapped out. There are some metal shavings in there and the rear is in full lock pretty much. On tight turns you can tell both tires are locked and the inside one chirps. It looks like i have to put a new carrier in there and new posi or something. Im thinkin a detroit locker. I dont care if its locked all the time, i dont want no posi clutches and crap in there. So if anyone has any recomendations for me or best place to get me a detroit and all parts. Does a detroit locker come with everything ill need to (like carrier and all parts ) I dont know how all that stuff comes for there? Thanks for any help guys

Look up reiderracing.com Call them if you have any technical questions., They have sold me my stuff and I have been happy with them. I am sure that others will say the same thing about the shops they have done busisness with.
I was just on the drive train specialist site, but they have 6 different listings for the dana 70. So Now the question is How many splines , is there a pinoin offset and any other thing i need to know? Thanks if not ill be callin one of them.
If someone has a chance can they look at this and see if its the right part for me to order. Thanks a ton Guys. http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com...oduct-932.html
Looks good, if you are sure about your gears and splines, but no matter what I would go with what the shop tech recommends given your year, make, and model. Call them. If it is the wrong part, they will exchange it, no problem. If you tell them what you want and it is not correct, it may be a hassle. I have never had any problems.
