I josk spoke to a Tech Rep. at Rancho who told me they do not make a stabilizer for any 2500 newer than 1998?

Has anyone replaced theirs with anything other than OEM? Or will a 1998 shock fit my 01?

Do you just perfer Rancho? If not then Procomp has great steering Stabs. Everyone that I have sold them to have been really impressed with them.

 

Skyjacker makes one for later models. The website lists up to 2001. I spoke with them and they said the same kit will fit my '02 (depending on which front axle I have, there apparently were some built with military axles that have a bit bigger diameter than the non-military axles, therefore the u-bolts won't fit). I would call S/J (if you can't find the Rancho) and talk to them.

 

;DI left my stock one alone, and just add the RANCHO one two that. Just order the steering stabilizer kit, the brackets bolt to tie rod and axle, work fine for me.

I have a '99 and got a Rancho stabilizer within one year of owning the truck. Got it from my local auto parts dealer.

 

I also have the rancho.
