I did when I first put on 315s. Somewhere down the road I had a single DW incident that was mainly caused by 315s with 35psi air and Rancho 9000xs on 4. But when the mech was checking out the front end for potential problems he showed me that the Rancho steering stabilizer had a flat bushing instead of a tapered bushing like the stock stabilizer. This did allow for a little movement, I just put the stock stabilizer back on. I think the new Rancho steering stabilizers have the tapered bushing. I could have returned mine, but I forgot about it. That was over a year ago.

Coobie, I had one on my 2001 and though it was a improvement over the stock one. I have been thinking about replacing the one on my 05. I will say one thing, the DSS I installed on my 01 was the single best thing I did to that truck to improve the steering. My 05's steering is much tighter than the 01 was but that could change over time.

I forgot to add that while the Rancho steering stabilizer was on I honestly could not tell any difference in the steering from stock. I think the Rancho was on about 8,000 miles and the original stock has been on for the remainder of my 34,000 miles. I have just not really had any complaints on the steering turning or cruising. I can still let the wheel go at 80 and if the road is straight and level the truck never moves off line.

I have added the windecker stabilizer system(www.solidsteel.ca)to my truck and wanted to add the rancho steering shock also.My truck feels a little light in the steering, maybe the rancho will help.coobie

I used the Rancho Steering Stab for about 4 months. didn't like it. Love the 4 on the suspension though. I went to a ProComp steering stab. and it has worked really well so far. been on 3 months and has been put to the test deer hunting in early oct.
