No changes from my last post. All still working the same and no lock-ups or PL levels changing on their own.

I sent ALL the beta testers an update via email. If you did not get it let me know and I will see what happened.

Update should solve a bunch of these little gremlins!!

I have never received any e-mails from you or your people.... including the original, explaining the three stages of testing (got that from another tester after received the box).
Never got called when Adrenaline shipped either.... if still doing that. No biggie, just FYI.

That is true with me as well. I still haven't received anything explaining the three stages, but I just figure I'll be pleasantly surprised.

that does sound about right, how did i inadvertantly do that? or how do i turn it off?

Turbo timer still shuts the truck down every time at 20 seconds.

JIT and ROWJ,

For some reason I do not have your email or real names?? I am sure we have them somewhere but, normally I get copied when testers are added so I can put them in the email list.

If you will send me a pm with your real names and email addresses I will put you in the email list.

Same here, except I was called before they sent it out... but no e-mails of any sort to date. Again, no biggie to me either... just an FYI as well.

Got the latest update yesterday and had a bit of time to try it out. The surging is greatly reduced compared to previous tunes, but is still very noticeable on anything over PL03. Still, at least the truck is now driveable up to PL10 now, which is a great improvement. Keep up the good work.

I had previously downloaded the new file with the turbo timer. Planned on getting pyro tied into my other probe. Forgot after doing some other work yesterday and still hadn't gotten the pyro tied in. Cut the key last night after checking my oil pressure on my other work and it kept running.....caught me off guard as I had forgotten about the TT. Hit the brake and it cut off just fine.

Loaded the new file from yesterday. Started it up for some testing this morning. Ramped up to 1500 dropped to 1000 and kept cycling between the 2. I didn't like that so I hit the brake and it dropped back to regular idle. I'll test the high idle again later to see if it settles on an rpm.

I loaded the new file from yesterday and tried it last night. When the engine was stone cold the high idle came up right at 2 minutes and went right to 1200rpm. Touched the throttle and it went right back to normal idle. I drove the pickup to dinner, and let it idle, and again at 2 minutes the idle went to 1200rpm. After dinner came out and started it up, it was cold enough to cycle the heating grids once it started. This time at 2 minutes the idle would go from 900rpm to a max of 1800 (normally only to about 1500), and back. Drove the pickup home and tried it again, and it worked normally again.

The surge for around town driving is greatly reduced on all levels. The surge while power braking it to build boost has also been eliminated. Crusing down the highway though, the surge is still bad enough that I have to turn it to PL00. It sure is a blast to drive around town at the higher levels. Throttle response and spool up are fantastic!

I hope this info helps...

Well got the new software loaded up and tested it out this morning. After 2 mins high idle kicked up to 1000 then ramped up to 1200 after about a minute. The high idle wouldn't kick off with the brake or throttle. Pulled out of my driveway and got about 100 feet and the truck died. It wouldn't restart so I unhooked the box still wouldn't start I noticed the fuel pump wasn't running plugged the box back in and tried it again fuel pump cycled and the truck fired right up, but the check engine light was on. I pulled back in the driveway and pulled up the codes they were 1691(fuel system ess rpm error), 1693(dtc cleared in companion jtec module0, and p0107 (map sensor voltage to low). I cleared the codes and took it for another ride. Power was noticably less didn't seem to matter what level I was on from 0-10 all felt the same. I will try the high idle again later on today. I might try reloading the older software and see if the power comes back.
