You have to load one of the programs to the box that has the turbo timer. It works fine on my truck.

Also make sure you use the right fuse or it wont work properly.

Anybody on that knows how to tap the pump? Never done it before, but I'm assuming I'm tapping the green wire thats inside the connector(has 7 wires going into it) on the backside of the pump??

Any pictures would be really great, more of a visual learner! Need the truck in running order for work tommorrow morning! Yeah, prob gonna be an all-nighter...

Whats done with the wires not being used like the gauge wires?

no not there.

the "wire tap" wire is the 1 of the 2 wires that go from the back of the plug into the electronics module on top of the pump. its is the one CLOSEST to the engine block. they are only a few inches exposed both black IIRC. but the one closest to the head is the one you tap.

almost better to remove the TPS completely from the head in order to see it and get at it.

No, no. I was talking about BBa's mentioning of: if we use the wrong fuse, the Adrenaline won't work??? I use a stealth cover as it is way easier to work with and you only need a light tester to see if the VP44 wire tap is good.

Yeah so I tapped that green wire...

Truck started and immediately surged then idled fine, but the truck just sounded wierd. Stayed on PL00 and I just kept seeing 9999 for all the gauges, was hoping to see something for fuel pressure seeing as how thats the only gauge I have hooked up...

Truck only idles, go pedal to the floor and no difference in rpms/sound/speed. Hopefully I didn't kill the ole'44 by tapping that green wire....

Sounds like your APPS has come unplugged? If you removed it aside to tap your VP44, did you unplug it?

If thats the connection with 7 wires in it that you have to pull a little slider like deal before it'll disconnect then yeah.

Well I did some more testing today and discovered I had the worst surge in levels 5-7. Levels 8-10 have some mild surging and from level 4 down I haven't noticed ant surging. I am gonna try a new tune and see if that helps. I tried running the oil temp sender in my cold pipe to check what the air temps are but it just stays at 100 must be a bad ground. I love the power of this box definetly seems to fuel harder then my comp.
Joe
Ok dumb question but where do I get the different files for this thing?

Okay guys... issues. I'm sure its operator error, but the truck is completely dead now. Something is draining the battery... any ideas as to what it is?? I called Qaud and talked with Roark he helped me get the pump tapped, so thats good now. But do you thinking leaving that green wire I tapped last night over night drained it? Tried jumping the truck, battery on passenger side brought the meter up to 14 but truck wouldn't start... it'd crank but wouldn't start. Battery on drivers side wouldn't do anything.

I don't know much about what I'm attempting to do so please excuse the ignorance/lack of knowledge. Any help/knowledge/advice would be GREATLY appreciated guys!!!

Still can't change from PL00 and still no readings on fuel pressure btw.
