Awesome! I've only got 2 under my belt at this time!

If you torque the injection lines down to spec and not over tighten them, the tube tips should be fine for multiple injector changes. Only thing that might need to be replaced is the crossover tube o-rings they can break and deform to cause a leak.

Put a totally bombed 12V with twins in it and you will not need to worry about a washer seal going out... or a vp for that matter...

Problem with having it done for you, is there are many ways to change injectors.
Removing fuel lines completely and pulling the crossover tubes out is safest way, IMO.
I have done mine 5 times also and never replaced tubes or replaced o-rings (which Cummins suggests with each change). I did change O-rings this last time but after inspecting used ones, felt I wasted some money. But after reading 'Timmay2' above....maybe not?

There are reasons why some have a local shop do their work, which many here do not relate to easily! My bad back has put me in that position from time to time.
If that is your decision, I think it's a mistake to second guess them and dictate how they do their job. As said above, replacing everything is not always a waste and can be justified under preventative MX.

When I had my 24v, it had well over 50 injector swaps on it, and still had the original connector tubes. That truck was the guinnea pig for a couple of manufacturers.

They're in!

Just got the truck back about 1/2 hr ago, and the injectors are in! I can definately feel the difference, and the engine sounds a bit different as well.

Once I put the EZ back on, I should be able to slip my trans for sure

Have to think about this for a minute.......If you have a shop replace the injectors, and reuse the tubes, if one leaks how much labor will the shop charge to replace and or repair the leak. Doubt that they will want to let it out of the shop if it has a leak! If YOU do it then it's would be just a delay of sorts, to go purchase a new tube or two.

Update:

EZ+RV275s = FUN

Trans is happy so far, EZ on middle setting. I beat on it for a while last night. I could slip the tires, but not the trans.

Save up for that tranny man. Best $$$$ I ever spent on the truck. Period.
