Quick Clutch Question???
Fellas,
I have a buddy who is trying to save a little $$$ and found a NV5600 in the boneyard and wants to swap the clutch from it into his older NV4500 5 spd.
Is there any difference in a clutch for a NV4500 or NV5600??? Essentially a clutch is a clutch, but is there any reason why an NV5600 clutch wouldn't work in an NV4500???
Thanks in advance for your help!

Sure it'll work, but somethings need to be done first.
What year 5600? the 5600 clutch is a 13" clutch his flywheel will need to be redrilled for the different mount pattern. depending on the year, the '01-up 5600 have a 1 3/8" input shaft 10 spline and a larger pilot bearing. the '99-'00 5600s have a 1 1/4" input shaft with 12 splines. and with the 13" clutch on a 1 1/4" input (IIRC) needs the 3/4" spacer under the starter.
