question: Installing my 3" leveling kit.

I bought a 3" leveling kit for my 00 CTD 4X4. Because its 3" am I going to have to change anything to the rest of the suspension or steering? like a larger pitman arm etc? Thanks guys, Dave

I think the biggest concern would be topping out your shocks. Everything else should be ok; although 3" does place a lot of stress on front-end parts. Might want to look into longer upper & lower control arms as well as a better track bar.

If its a true 3 inches then you will need some other stuff. Def track bar, and shocks, control arms would be good idea your axle will be pulled back about 2 inches whisch puts your coils and springs on an angle. Steering mite be ok but not shure, i have 2.5 inch kit and it seems like its maxed for stack steering. You should also change your catser angle to because you will have extra wear on the outside 2 inches of your tires if you dont.
