Got mine here.... http://www.hellbentsteel.com/dodge/dodge-lift-kit.html
Excellent quality!

You are 4x4, right? Your signature does not say?

Install requires removing shock tower & shock.... than jacking up front end and removing the spring. I believe the install instructions are on the web site. about a 2 hr job. (a lot easier with a spring compressor, which I wish I had used).

they're very easy to do with some hand tools and a spring compressor.......trust me use the spring compressor. It makes things MUCH easier. they'll come with a little instruction list. mine was pretty accurate with pictures to boot.

basically block the truck jack the front jackstands under the frame let the front diff sit on the jack until you need to drop it down. pull the shocks. drop the diff end of the track bar. pull coil (one at a time) remove stock coil cup (keep stock isolator to reuse) unstall isolator into new spacerinstall studs with locktite. install into truck, reinstall coil. reinstall shock. and you drop the side of the diff that you're pulling the coil on, too full droop.

thats about it IIRC. took me about an hour to install mine. mine are Revtek. I should mention my Revtek's are cast one peice aluminum.

I went through TopGunCustomz. Definately get a spring compressor b/f you even start... That's a HUGE help.

Actually a lot of parts stores(autozone, advance, etc) will "rent" a tool, its basically loaning a the tool(spring compessor) so you wont have to buy one.

I think the "spring compresser" one I got from advance was about 30 bucks.
If you have never delt with coil springs be extremely careful when removing and installing.

6wheeler, why do you say to me extremely careful, what should i be looking out for?

and about the loaning or renting of tools, i thought of it after i posted the reply, but i know the folks real well that own a NAPA parts store down town and it's also a machine shop as well, and i've borrowed many a tools from them, all they do is give it to ya, right your name phone number down, and that's it, free of charge, it's that small town trust is what it is...

and also, i read somewhere that this leveling kit can throw off some things like alignment, steering, etc. is this true?

I've had my 2" leveling spacers in for 20,000kms and have not noticed anything adverse.

when you compress a spring as big and heavy as the front coils on our Dodges......there is tremendus stored energy..........if the compressor fails or something goes "wrong" it can kill you if you catch it in the head.

when I had spacers I used BDS brand. they were a cast alluminum. Worked out well. I think any metal spacers would be good. I'd stay away from the plastic/poly ones.
