i got my pulse in friday and boy was i suprised, it is alot bigger than i thought, the edge attitude is alot nicer unit and alot smaller. it is so big i really dont know were i am going to put it at. I got to drive my truck alot over the weekend and i noticed playing around when i was going up a small grade at about 70 on level three that i was running 10psi of boost i turned it all the way up holding steady at 70 and the gauge went to 20psi, then turned back down to 3 and the boost went back down to 10 and the truck never slowed down or sped up. i couldnt believe that there was that much differance in the boost.

 

did you look into the pillar mount?

How's the performance of the Quadzilla Adrenaline? Can somebody please give me info

 

the performance is great, my truck will get up and go faster than anything that i have had on it. the surging is the only thing that i can complain about, and they are working on a fix for that. i was hoping that the pulse was going to be alot smaller than it is but, that is how it goes i like the box by far better than anything i have had.

 

Love the adrenaline but if ya got a stock transmission take it easy on it or expect to spend sometime at the shop rebuilding it

Took about three month for the Adrenaline to kill my stock trans.

 

for those of you with destroyed stock trans. What do you have auto or man? Also what setting did you leave your adr. on?

 

auto and went as high as level 6 usually on 5

 

tune i was last using was the 2000 test tune,which i guess was just a little to strong for the old stock tranny lol

 

I had a stock auto trans. Now I have a built auto trans

 

luckily I didn`t have to get mine rebuilt yet lol
got it back from tranny shop tonight (govenor selinoidswent out sp)
no metal shavings in it so good to go now
left tranny shop put it on level 7 and had some fun
hopefully I won`t have to go back before I get lots of money in the bank account

 

What were your symptoms? I'm exhausting all options in my search for my surge fix...Mechanically my transmission is good, but electronically??

my tranny?
got in went for a drive long drive (90 miles) went out got back on the road and it was slipping, would not get in gear til after 45 50 mph but when it did it ran fine.
I never had surge except with 2000 test tune i had like a pause at around 1800-2000 rpm
no surge on any of the tunes i used except that pause
you got big injectors?
I think I have stock ones in mine

 

i have a 6 speed manual, with the comp tune i leave mine on 8 or 9 for normal driving, but i dont have it all upstairs either
