I would recommend a few things.
1. research other threads regarding the ADR.
2. Quad has updated the tunes on there website as of 1/9/11 to eliminate the surging on the tunes.
3. What type of fuel LP do you have? How do you know you're not running out of fuel or possibly the filter is clogged.

Most of the people on DTR don't sit around their PC all day long waiting for threads to pop up and issues to be solved, be patient, there is a ton of great help here.
Just a couple of things to eliminate prior to moving fwd as it's a process of elimination.

Try turning the timing to zero. That cures the surging on my truck.

Try re-loading the Quad tune. When I looked last week all reflected updates to eliminate surging.

The search function is your friend.
Your asking a question that has been asked to death.
Which tune are you running? That helps.
Does the Pulse and Ad both have all the latest updates on them?

I don't think your situation is unusual w/the "oddities" and mysterious events. High Idle has been my friend w/this cold weather and after it is engauged by the ADR and runs for a while the truck dies. It's happend both this week w/the #10018 & #10022 tunes.

When i use high idle in the summer for a long time the Pulse would go nutz with the read outs.
Now when pushing snow the Pulse goes goofy too. The other day the EGT's showed 640000 and the other 3 gauges said 0. Had to unplug the AD for it to reset.

What you might try if you still have the ADR2-1000 tune loaded, is reset it back to the defaults and then just turn the timing back to 0.0. You need to just change one thing at a time so you can see what works. Lowering some of the other settings can just make surging worse. Don't lower the timing scale.
