Mine threw a "CEL" this AM too after the trouble shutting down last night (can't check the codes on my '99) but after starting a second time the "CEL" went out...

Today was a new experience, (no surprise there!) the TT worked about 80% of the time, brake and accelerator still don't affect it...

Loaded up the V300 Beta tonight. No High Idle at all. I didn't get the email but simply downloaded it from this thread, so I don't know if it was supposed to be there. Idle quality is perfect surge is gone. Even on PL10. TT works for 20 seconds every time. Have not had any issue other than the High Idle not working.

I really miss the high idle feature. It has been pretty cold here in Colorado lately and that featured worked awesome!!

Thanks.... I tried that. Had four starts with no change, before disconnecting Adrenaline the second time.
Working with Quad's people on a solution.... ball is in their court. For now....back to my Smarty!

Have had zero problems with the newest update but the only thing i wish was different on it right now is high idle and longer TT.

Last 2 days the issues are about the same...

No recurrence of the inability to shut the truck down, the wacky readout behavior or "CEL"...

TT is now working about 75-80% of the time with no ability to shut it off with accelerator/brake pedal and no real rhyme or reason as to why it works when it does...

Quad any response on the issues some of these guys are having with the CELs or the TT working part of the time? I know you may be talking to the guys with issues on the side, but can you lend any info to the rest of us?

Any ideas on my FP sender? reading consistently 0-5psi now
Still have PL0_
Are you making any changes to the production tune? (Bringing back HI, TT to a min, slight cruise surge fix??)

Thanks for the update

With the newest Beta, is your guy's defueling working?? Figured out my ABS problem. The red wire at the top of the rear differential had a poor connection in it. Was just a coencident that this happened the same time that I installed the newest Adrenaline Beta program. I thought the turbo timer was causing that problem but I was so wrong!!! All fixed up and my appologies again Quad....

I have yet been able to get the EGTs high enough to defuel so I can't say. Talked with Quad about it and he had me check my data port connection, but no luck. This tune seems to lack power compared to the previous ones I tested. I don't know if something happened when I updated the box or not.

This tune and the last have barely been equal to my Van Aaken box and these small injector nozzles so I've been nowhere near the heat to defuel...I've checked everything and have come to the conclusion (also pointed out by Quad when this tune came out) that this tune isn't about power but to work on the TT issues...so I'm gonna continue to solder on with the testing as requested...

well I got to travel about 350 miles today and for some reason it seems like im the only one but it still has surging atleast on my truck on level 2 and up. It was bad enough on level 4 and up that my mom was asking me what was wrong with my truck. Also the TT didnt work 2 of the times i killed the truck.

You have something wrong.. Period.. I had a Van Aaken box and the thing was painfully weak. You must not be getting a good wire tap, or the programming messed up.... I can pull to 1350* with this box and I have twins!

Something is wrong get with quad and get it worked out....

Comparing this box to a Van Aaken is like comparing a Lambo to a Pinto

The tap is soldered and this box is awesome on the aggressive tunes...I may have been down playing the performance a bit but this truck ran pretty decent with the nozzles and the VA box. Several testing this tune have mentioned not having enough fuel/power to even get to the defueling, I'm aware it's not even in this tune.

You should be able to get into scary EGTs fairly easily in the upper levels
