Pyro probe location?

I just bought my ps 62 and an ats 3-piece manifold. I am currently running my pyro probe after the turbo, but when I install my ps 62 and 3 piece manifold I would like to run the probe before the turbo, but I've had people tell me that it is a really bad idea because the probe could break off and and really make a mess out of things. How likley is it for that probe to break off, and also, arn't most of you guys runnin your probe pre-turbo? Have any of you had this happen? Will the pyro read more accurately if installed before the turbo? Also, just out of curiosity, with the installition of this new turbo, how much horse power do you think I am running.

I've got mine on the manifold, and I'm sure most everyone else does too.It is more accurate.I've never thought about it breaking off and never heard of it either, but you raise a good question

Breaking off the tip of the probe is not likely to happen. Pre turbo is the prefered place to install the probe.

pre turbo is the way to go, it is much more accurate than post trubo.

My turbo arrived today. I can’t wait to install it. Thanks for the info, I will be putting the pyro pre-turbo, I want it to read as accurately as possible, also I don’t really want to drill a hole in my hx-40 down pipe. Thanks for all the help, you guys are great!
