pyro probe location

I was drilling for the pyro probe, I went about 3/8" deep and I still have not broken through. I am drilling dead center and about 2 1/2" back from the turbo flange on the exh manifold. Is there a "plenum divider" located there? Should I drill slightly off center?

You might want to use a bottoming tap and carefully thread the center hole then put a plug in it. Hopefully you won't develope a crack.

Luckily I was only drilling with the pilot drill bit, so I will just weld it closed.
