Pyro install on 01 Ram 2500

Needed to ask a question about installing a pyro in a friends truck. Does it need to be installed pre or post turbo? Does anybody have a how to or pics?

Thanks in advance

Jason

Install it PRE turbo. You can do it post but it's pointless imo. Check out www.dodgeram.org for install pics. Just drill and tap the exhaust manifold. Don't worry about dropping the turbo. Try to get out as much metal shavings as you can with a vacuum or grease on the tap, but it's not going to hurt anything if there's still a little bit in there. Once you start it up, they'll blow out.

Pre Turbo, Just drill a 7/16 hole in the cross over in between the manifold rail and the turbo in the back channel of the two and tap the hole with a 1/4 NPT tap, then use a thin pencil magnet to go down in the hole to pull out all the metal shavings as far as you can reach with your magnet. You should have no problems.

Thanks Brett
