there are trucks running hx 80's with larger framed hx80's on bottom. Staging your chargers closer together will yield lower boost numbers for a largeramount of air, however it will spool slower. (this is a mod setup)

everyone wants to be the baddest this and that, but you need to have realistic goals. 800hp is doable and drivable, however it will take motor work, and there will still be 1000hp single charger trucks thatll outrun and out spin (rpm) your streetdriven truck.

a proven setup is a 66mm s300 and an big brother which measures 88mm (i think) it will make 800 hp

you could probably find a s400 and an hx80 and make a semi streetable setup if you knew what trims you were looking for.

I just can see being able to drive the truck everyday with a ppump conversion, and a huge set of twins !

a high performance p pumped motor with a huge set of twins isnt the combo for a daily driver. They shouldnt even be in the same sentence

to have your cake and eat it too, will cost you LOTS AND LOTS of cake

im at 500hp on a single turbo, no p-pump, alot less things to "tune" and i hate driving it everyday, its alot of wear and tear. and i dont even drive it hard anymore. too expensive to break stuff. i can see building a nice 600hp toy, that may pushing 750 or even 800 on spray thats "streetable" as in you can take it out to the car meet on saturday night and brag...but to daily drive it...not possible unless you like rebuilding the drivetrain every 6-8 months

also to have a p-pump with twins that big, its never gonna spool on the street, and you will have a cloud that follows you until the law man catches up...but hey, if you got money to burn, have at it!

Rofl , Alota cake hu? i like the way you put that! I think what we're all askin is do you want to sled pull, or daily drive and pull occasionaly. If your wanting to daily drive and pull occasionaly i would go with a 62/14 or 64/14 over a s400 ! Dont let folks convence you this is a easy or cheap swap, or that its a daily driver , there are suppliers that will tell you its a great idea but usually there out for your money! Ask someone like PBP or PDW and they will tell you, if your for all out power and have deep pockets its a option, but not a daily driver option! Also if you run twins that big, i have to agree your going to be one smokey ride! as Mythbusters would say, i just dont see it plausable! It can be done, but efficently no!

Because with a p-pump you run into the issue of not being able to control your smoke. If you throw on some huge chargers and are dumping massive amounts of fuel to get them suckers to spool.........you will shut down a city with the amount of smoke you will be putting out just attempting to drive through town. In my opinion, I'd stick with the VP44 to make it atleast steetable....

I could understand a 700hp big boy not being streetable but what I don't understand is lately I see people talking about 500hp not a good daily driver? I've got a 500+hp truck and I daily drive it and have no issues. Granted daily driving is 400hp but still. I could see where a 12v might run into issues since they can't turn their power on and off but that's why they have valet switches.

I agree, It is street driveable to have 500+hp and i run that power daily!
I dont think a P Pump conversion is the way to go! It can be done , but i wouldnt say it be a reliable and cost effective way! It takes alot of tuning to get one right from what i hear!
