Push Button Shift Lever

I remember seeing a shift lever with a push button in the **** some where but can't find it now. Anybody know where to find it? I see that Geno's has just the **** but I'm sure somewhere had the whole lever.

Lever as in hi and low gears in a eaton shifter? you might have too look around salvage yards that deal with big rigs.

Maybe I have it wrong but I seem to remember that someone replaced the complete gear shift lever with one that had a switch in the end.

I have the Geno's shift **** with the switch and it works great for the PAC brake. I see no reason to replace the whole shifter to get the switch. It was an easy install.

I would like to use the Genos **** but The end is moulded to the lever on my truck or at least I'm pretty sure it is, and Genos is a screw on right?

Pry up the shift pattern button and you will find a nut that holds the **** on.

Does your shift lever had the O/D switch built in ?
I never had a 12v auto so I cannot tell, but if you don't have it you can use a '99 and up shift lever, they have a switch at end of lever to turn on or off the O/D in the transmission when towing heavy.
Is this what you are looking for ?

Thats what I want. Do you know if they are a easy replacement or do they have to be modified. Ive been trying to find this shift lever this morning on parts sites with no luck.

i thought that was stock on 12v trucks. Mine 99 24V has a O/D button on the factory shifter. And i think the only replacement would be a toggle or push button switch.

You could always use a floor mount dimmer style switch like in older ford trucks and mount it in the floorboard.

96 has no button in the lever. I plan to use a dimmer on the floor for an exhaust brake. I hate having add on switches in the dash.
