I just dynoed the other day on a mustang dyno. How much are they supposed to load the dyno. They loaded it with me around 28%, which wouldn't allow me to pull very high rpms.
I have dyno'd on both Mustang and Dynojet dynos and have been able to run it to 3200 rpm on both. The Mustang did load more and allowed me to build boost sooner than on the Dynojet.

Look at the mods in my sig. Pretty potent combination. I'm getting the TST COMP back tomorrow so that should put me nicely into the 500hp range.

I seen your truck there awesome power. What were you running in the 1/4 mile, also what do you think of the power up oils.

I was row'in a 13.2 @ 106 mph. The power up oil is great stuff, my transmission has been getting better everytime I drive it, getting way easier to get into gears with that DD clutch. I ran a 676 hp before and 699.7 hp after they did power steering, tranfer case and transmision, it freed up 24 hp that was going to friction.

Hey,

Ya, I troll around here TDR and Cumminsforum. There always some good info here. I'm trying to build up some motivation to finish putting together the nitrous system, after putting in many hours for Black out days I think she's gonna get a rest for a few days before I get it finished.

Later,

Bret

Okay guys maybe I'm missing something here and if so please correct me. The HO was 10 HP more than the non HO, correct. Why so much attention to the HO? Was not the difference between the two engines just a slight difference in compression? I would want the lower compression engine anyway. Help me out here. Thanks.

Different pump, injectors, timing, compression,.... valve seats?,..... so they respond differently than the other trucks. The HO trucks respond well to injectors, not as well to boxes, and make less power when heavily bombed.
