Propane tanks
Propane tanks
I found some tanks at Tractor supply today that ranged from 30# to 100# tanks and it said they are DOT approved but there is only one valve on top like the BBQ grille tanks. can these tanks be mounted sideways? do I need a tank that has both valves?
thanks!
thanks!
Re:Propane tanks
I think ya can, couple problems i see are at from full to 1/2 you'll get liquid, after that vapor.
Only one valve could be a problem, if you want only vapor out of it or liquid only. Not sure on the wall thickness, but i bet they are not as thick as one built for truck use. 60 gallon saddle tank i have is pretty heavy.
