I'm getting ready to install my gauges, if it doesn't rain cats and dogs! I am using a dual A pillar pod. What's the best way to prep it before shooting the interior paint?

I washed it and left it outside to dry ... is that sufficient???

 

Never mind, I went ahead and shot it ... hopefully there wasn't a step I missed.

I've got a half can of mist gray, if you need it

 

I gave mine a light sanding to get the mold seams off and maybe improve the finish some. Then I washed and dried.

 

I'm going to be ordering mine here soon... I might take it!

 

Sorry, Mopar1973man, I just installed the pod and decided to spray the entire A pillar, so I've only got about a 1/4 of a can left ... if that! It's yours, if you think it's enough? The paint's pretty cheap ... $8 at the local dealer ... had to order it though.

 

I'm going to be ordering a set of guages to and I already have the paint figured into the price... Thanks anyways...
