Question preheater grid

Has anyone removed these before, as you can see I live in TEXAS so cold weather is not really an issue. Will it improve air flow, or will I notice no improvement at all?

Some of the big HP pullers and racers have removed it.

Someone sells a spacer to replace it, but I can't remember who does, Geno's maybe?

I've seen dyno readouts on a 700hp truck before and after removing the grids, no difference.

I would leave it. A diesel likes some heat when starting, if its hot or cold outside. At least untill its so hot that the grids dont even cycle.
