predictions

01 dodge 2500 cummins with auto with built TC, VB and some other little goodies, then edge juice w/attitude on level 5, HT-60 turbo, injectors, bd manifold, ats 4" exhaust, has a fuel pump but i dont know what exactly.

Hes got a race against an 06 F350 single rear wheel with SCT on performance and 5" straight pipe.

Who's gonna win? The HT-60 turbo is kinda like stock, i believe its more of a towing/light performance setup because it spools like stock pretty much but it does boost a good bit more but its not like a ball bearing turbo.

judging by his turbo choice can we assume his injectors aren't very big??

6.0's are fast with a simple SCT... depending on the tune, can run 14's in the 1/4 and make about 430rwhp on the tune alone.

I know you don't want to hear this but I think your buddy might be looking at taillights in this race.

Really? Wow, I didn't think they had the fuel system to sustain that kind of power. Every one I have seen around here can't muster much over 300 RWHP..

It really depends on the tune used. SCT is no joke on a 6.0.

I've never heard a fuel system problem with the 6.0. The biggest post performance mod issue I've seen on the 6.0 is with the headgasket/stock head bolts...

i have no clue what injectors he is running but the truck with the edge on 1 will smoke like a train haha if that describes anything.

Ive ridden in both but im not sure. Think if he upgrades to the "HOT" setting before they race he will be better off? or will it just hurt him, cause on level 5 now it defuels and beeps all the time once it starts moving and its sets at 1350 but gets there quick for some unknown reason.

I think the HT60 information is mistaken-- the HT60 is NOT a stocklike turbo to my knowledge. As far as I know, this turbocharger is more of large turbo and will have so much lag that the Ford will be ahead before he's making any power...

Yeah, I did some checking and that is a huge turbo... more apt for use on a 3.0 pulling truck or as the bottom turbo in a set of twins.
