Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between a Power Puck for a 2000 and a Power Puck for a 2001. I'm just wondering if I might have the wrong puck and that is caused my VP to go out. The window sticker on my truck said 2001 but I've come to find out that is a late model 2000 that they are calling a 01. My truck was made 10-00,, but it is registered as a 01, the trucks books are for a 01... I ran the Puck for about 25k miles with no problems.

 

There is a physical difference in the pump plug in. It isn't possible for you to plug a 01 puck into your y2k truck. And no it didn't cause your problem.

 

Ok so b/c I've been running the Puck for about 25k, my pump plug must be a 01's. Ok thanks for the help.
