Power Puck

How hard is the tuning software for the Power Puck to work with? If i understand what i have read correctly, you can either install the puck as is or tune it more or less to your liking. This seems like it'd be good, but how much MORE can you tune it?

Re:Power Puck

The Puck is as hot as it can be when you buy it from DiabloSport. All you can do to tune it is back off the low boost fueling to lower smoke a little. In all honesty, don't bother buying the software since smoke is manageable with your foot.

Re:Power Puck

ive heard you need a dyno to tweak them out it not like the power joke where you can do more with it but diablo sport is coming out w/a new one for the cummins or it may already be out

Re:Power Puck

I'd say if HeberRam says stay away from it, then stay away from it.

Figure he's tried every box, chip and puck out there in every possible combination of stacking to get to his just under 700 horsepower (at the Dyno run I witnessed).

(Wait till the May Madness reports start filing in to see what he's at now)

Re:Power Puck

I had the puck on my 01 and put 50k on it and was very happy with it. i towa lot of weight and it worked fine. The puck for the older trucks can be sent back to the factory and be updated from my understanding. I have seen one develope a short but other then that i've never heard anything else. i'd get another one but i want more power. ;D
