just bought my truck and it has a power puck? what is it/ what does it do?

 

I just bought a power puck for my 01, It gets you about 50hp I beleive.I bought mine used,and it was cheap...

 

Did the puck help the low end grunt say between 1000-2000rpm?

 

no idea, i just bought the truck and it had it, the truck is a friggin rocket though compared to my friends 05 ford diesel non dually

 

0 -50-90 hp,0 is in the middle

 

On an 01, its just 50 horse, no adjustment.

 

Yep 50 horse around 150 torque and a little more added boost.

 

its a timing box.it advances fuel timing..it is also a boost fooler(allows you to run higher boost without wigging out the computer)........its the same as an edge ez box........good box for the money,can be had new for 160 bucks..the granetelli boys in florida make them if im not mistaken....bama

 

It definetly helped my low end, pretty snappy now, no lugging up to the R's, it comes on pretty good.
