Not too sure about the 80, but I'm running a PML cover on my 70 and it clears the sway bay.

cditrani,

We have sold a world of the D80 PML covers and never had an issue concerning the sway bar clearance etc. Give us a call if you have any questions we'll help you on them etc.

80 is all by itself, 60 and 70 rear are the same. 60 front is different also.

scarecrow,

I can't find the D80 applications on their site. Plus it doesn't say anywhere if their covers contain any more fluid than stock and by looking at their design I don't see how they could. Those kind of covers are mostly for drag racers and folks that do pulling as these kinds of covers are built to stiffen the rear axle housings for extreme loads etc. Most of the folks here are looking to add fluid to cool the axle fluids so they last longer etc

I start with a sander, gasket buffing pad, then move on to wet sanding, and then on the buffer.. finish it with BlueMagic... That cover was a pain.. lots of corners.. Its well work the extra few $$ to buy the already polished cover... I just get carried away sometimes...
