Please identify this HX40

Its a Holset HX40.. has the following numbers on it:

Holset USA 3532859-02
19
24-01-210

Someone says it probably has a 19cm housing.. I know its wastegated..

I can get it for a good price.. Do you think I'll have problems spooling it with injectors a little bit larger than 370's?

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

you don't want a 19cm housing!!!!

more importantly, post up some pics of the compressor wheel... you can change a turbine housing... compressor side is much more difficult

Wrong turbine housing too.
It wont mount up to a standard manifold (or at least it looks like the wider version).

well, it's a 19cm housing, so that's a moot point... even if it would bolt up, you wouldn't use it

What is wrong with the 8 blade design?
I have a 16cm wastegated housing possibly on the line.
Also, this turbo is brand new and would be a reasonable price...

Should I buy it or look at a HX35 hybrid from HTT or Piers?

what diameter is that compressor wheel?

I'm guessing it's in the 57-58mm range?

it's just not worth the money IMHO

you want a 60+mm 6 blade wheel. that's the wheel that all the aftermarket companies use in their HX40's and hybrids...

I've got one here that's got a 56mm wheel (8 blade) and an 18cm wastegated housing...I was gonna bolt it up but it also uses that T4 flange.

It will be on a trip to Piers shortly along with two over stressed 35's.

Hopefully this B1 I have can hold up to the punishment

Anyone think I'll have problems spooling a full-on B1?? Taking bets!
