Pics of my exhaust need help

I bought this truck and it came with the whole Banks kit including the exhaust on it installed by the previous owner. I want to just cut the muffler out and put in a straight pipe. The problem is the Banks muffler is offset. The inlet is alot higher then the outlet. What would be the best way to run a pipe in it's place. Would flex pipe work or could i use some 45* bends to make up for the drop. It's about a 6-8" drop from inlet to outlet and the muffler is about 30" long, so there's not a lot of room to drop it down with adapters. Any suggestions besides getting a new exhaust, Is the Banks exhaust worth keeping on the truck or should I look into going with a new Turbo back. I hate to take off the Banks exhaust, seems to be a nice exhaust, except for it looks like it's only 3.5".
Here's a couple pics

Geno's Garage has muffler delete kits. www.genosgarage.com I'm not sure if DTR store carries them, but they may.

The 1st ? is where are you going with this truck , HPs , TQ , play daily driver , towing ?
Is it a 12v -24v ?
Also like many after market brands , there are multiple levels , brake down what is in the banks kit .
If it is a 3 1/2" exhaust , then you may want to start over .

Looks a lot like the stock ones I take off all the time. Dose it say banks on the muffler? Most do. Usualy Banks power packs come with Banks guages. What other Banks parts are on it?

What I did on my truck was cut the tail pipe and welded it at a higher angle so I the pipe runs straight with the frame from the downpipe to the rear axle. Figured it would be dumb to buy all sorts of angles to make it work and have the exhaust hang lower than it needed to be.

After looking a little closer I think the cat was taken off and this is just a cat back from banks. The muffler does say banks on it. The pipe is 3" to the muffler and right before the muffler steps up to 3.5" and then 4" muffler inlet back down to 3.5" out the back with a 4 inch tip. Kinda strange setup. For the time being I'm going to have a 3" pipe welded in place of the muffler. Went to an exhaust shop today and they said they would weld in a 4 foot section for $50. That will do until I decide to drop money for a 4 or 5 inch. I'm suprised it's not a full banks exhaust, all the other banks components are on the truck, banks plate, 14cm housing, Isspro guages though not banks, twin ram intake, big head wastgate , K&N filter. Maybe it was pieced together? I thought the Banks exhaust was 4", so it's obviously a cat back.

Actually that isn't too bad. I paid close to that just for the pipe I needed. Liftem, if you were closer I'd give you the setup I am running. I just bought a 4" setup a few weeks ago.
