I did when it was released, and there were vestiges of cracks appearing; after installation, the hitch was abused quite a bit - even breaking 3/8" load-binding chain while "logging" trees with a 15mph running start to uproot them.
The blue truck is a 96.

Does that blue truck look like a 98 ex cab long box 4x4 with 35" tires and 5" stacks?

The motor from the 98 is currently in the BACK of the blue truck pictured.

I bought mine a year ago from a Dodge Dealer, you would think they would have done it. I know they did a few other TSBs before I could take it. I test drove it before they even cleaned it. I called asking about a 12v right after they took it in trade. And I jumped.
