I've been looking for another 1st gen & happened upon one Sunday. The dealership was closed of course, so we called the number just in case they had an answering machine. They did, so left a message to call me ASAP, then look on their website & email them as well. I wanted them to know I was serious about the truck. i finally get to talk to the owner & he says he's gotten quite a few calls on it, but no one has been there to drive it yet. I keep telling him I want the truck, will he take a credit card deposit to hold it till I can get there. I have never bought a truck with a credit card until now, but I wanted that truck BAD.
It's a 91 W-250 CTD black & silver (loaded) with an automatic wasn't real keen on that, but the body is good & low miles. We weathered the snow & ice to go pick it up today. So that makes us a 90, 91 & 98.5. I guess you could say we're diesel poor.

 

It's intercooled and a standard cab. It was dark when I got home last night as soon as it's semi light I'll post pics. I paid $5k for it, tax, title, etc out the door. Does have a little shake & shimmy in the front end about 65, but it runs good .As far as plans, lets see....... first thing is to "de-grandpa" it gotta get rid of those stock hubcabs. I will say this it won't be as extreme as my red one.
