performance help
I have a 1999 2500. Had an aftermarket holset turbo and bullydog lift pump when i bought it. I have added a 4 inch exhaust, edge juice with attitude, trans rebuild with torque converter and shift kit. I am not getting the performance that everyone tells me I should get and I am not getting the fuel mileage either. I am considering a set of injectors but I would like advice first. Any help would be appreciated.
Clean air filter....? Quality injectors such as formula Mach 1 or DDP will help but it's the combination of all quality components that help increase mpg. Might want to ck the easy things first, tire psi, easy on the right foot, and the clean air filter.
Also, what kind of performance and fuel mileage are people telling you that you should be getting? I've seen some outrageous claims when it comes to HP and fuel mileage numbers, just need to make sure you're not chasing unreachable values at your level.
Turns out it is a stock turbo as I thought. The guy who told me it was aftermarket was incorrect. I am getting about 11-13 mpg. Was hoping for around 18+. I had a dodge mechanic drive it and he thinks it is lacking power. I am leaning towards injectors next.

Just a thought. Maybe by aftermarket turbo the previous owner meant he switched the turbo from a hy35 to a hx35. On a different note, I would think that with what you have fueling wise, you should be able to hit around 30+ lbs of boost. Anything below 25, I would look for a boost leak or some way to adjust the wastegate.
