Do the PDR-40 turbos come with silencer rings?

mine did for some reason.

I think they may have started leaving them out for surge reasons.

They no longer come from Piers with the silencer ring. They did away with the ring to help keep the price down. I just got mine and paid an extra $90 bucks to get one with the silencer ring installed. The wife is sensitive to the noise. So to keep my bombing privledges......... :

BTW, PDR cam, PDR HX40, ported and o-ringed head and the proper amount of #2 is a WICKED combo ;D

Mine originally didn't, but I traded it back to PDR for one with the ring for $100 difference. It's about half as noisy as before, now.<br><br>-Jay

 

So the ones that dont come with 'em they still scream? Ijust want a bigger turbo than stick for 12v that will still scream.

 

Mine came with one. I removed it because it was barking too much with the ring.
