are oversized injector lines worth it?
are oversized injector lines worth it?
I am looking for some input from someone who has ran oversized(.120?) injector lines on a 12 valve. i am also curious, what size are the stock lines. I am going to have to get new ones soon and i have heard that oversized ones make a loping sound with timing. any truth to that. I know just the timing makes the truck sound quite a bit different, but not like a cammed v8
thanks for the input

Anything larger than stock will cost you power on a dyno, found that out myself the hard way. Also,if you do decide to go to larger lines(mine were .093 from Scheids)make sure each line is the same length or you will not be happy with how the truck runs or idles. The set I had each line was a different length, some were too long, some were too short and in the end three of them failed. One split at the delivery valve holder and two others leaked either at an injector or at the holders. They were all clamped and tight when installed and for the money had to be the worst items I ever bought for my truck.Yes,they were replaced by Scheids but they will never go back on my truck as the stock lines function very well......Andy
