number 11 plate ?'s

I have a 96 five speed with and wanted to get some feedback as to whether the plate makes any substantial power difference from the stock plate. I know the number 10 or the 100 is the one everybody likes, but im in college with little extra money and like to drive a little crazy at times so i am thinkin about goin with the number 11 to preserve the clutch as long as possible. If i slid it full forward would it make a considerable difference as opposed to being in the stock location? I already have gauges, just tryin to save the clutch for a bit til i can put some money back for a south bend clutch.

you can buy the 10 as well, just move it, the way your clutch supports it...
sliding it makes a diference, !

and what does a south bend clutch coast?

here in mexico we build a home made clutch disc. wich wont slip! really strong. and it costs about $300.00 dls!

the only sliping problem is at the tires!

the south bend clutches are a little over a thousand dollars depending on what model you buy. can you explain a little more about the home made clutch disk your talkin about cause that sounds like a much cheaper option?
