When I first put on all my go-fast parts I could hit 65psi and bury the pyrometer in fourth and fifth.
I recently noticed that it will do 50 in 3rd 45 in 4th and 40 in 5th

I do not drive my pickup like I stole it that often so this fuel issue may have been slow progessing over time not sure.

I replaced the overflow valve it had been awhile. No change idle smoke cleaned up some.

I replaced the mech. lift pump on it. Fuels hard now down low almost to the top of third gear but dies out in fourth and fifth with boost readings at 50 3rd then 45 in 4th and 45 in 5th so it help some. The pyrometer never got above 1200.

Idles and runs smooth. New fuel filter in it, Fuel hoses by the firewall are new. It has done this on multiple tanks of fuel.

Ideas?

Have not gotten the fuel pressure tested but thats comin soon just wondering if someone had any ideas.

valves are adjusted recently and no boost leaks from the intake manifold to afc

 

FUEL SHUTOFF SOLENOID out of adjustment hahaha!!! got er fixed and boy does it pull now it crazy what a difference at made I can get 65psi in third with the pyro at 1250-1300 or so now.
