Not "Just a Tease" Anymore!

Well I finnaly found some fuel to turn my twin chargers. I have done a lot of work on my truck since the last thread I started detailing building my second set of twin turbos and my fire ring installation. Since then I have installed a SBC Double Disk clutch to replace my Con FE that was slipping, I installed a new High Peformance VP44 to replace my small HO pump (I will give details about this in a seperat thread) and I installed some new Don M EDM injectors to go with the new pump. I finally got a chance to put it on the dyno yesterday and I am pretty happy with the results.

With the way my fueling is set up I have absolutely no smoke during normal driving conditions or while cruising at 70mph. The smoke at WOT is still less smoke than I had when I only had DD2's and an EDGE EZ. The truck is running remarkably good with the amount of fuel I have. I can spool my JR Adkins HX40/HT4B twins quite easily with just a touch of the throttle.

These are uncorrected dyno numbers that I made at only 55psi. We were having a little trouble with the rpm optical sensor but I got one good clean run in.

Here is another graph that might surprise a few people... On this run I disconnected my EDGE EZ and turned off my TST box. This run is just on injectors only!

I also dynoed with the EZ only which is how I drive during normal day driving. With just the EDGE EZ I cannot get the EGT's over 1200 degrees. I can leave my foot in it all day long and it will never ever get hot. I made 528hp and 1078lb/ft of torque with just the EZ.

Wow!! 500 ponnies on injectors only? Geesh that hot rod pump loves injectors I guess?? That is "PHAT HP" for injectors only.

The best on injectors I have seen was like 530, but the thing was one smokey pig. Not driveable at all on the street.

The cold air in Texas the last few days really makes it tough to burn the fuel as efficiently as you would on a slightly warmer day.

Congrats on the numbers.

Coming soon to a Texas Dyno near you........650 plus HP!!!!!!!!!!!

DIESEL ONLY

Well, I have seen some numbers before, but 500 with no fricking box at all is insane. A new mark to beat for sure.

Horace good looking graphs. I ran into the same problems with cold temps in December. Did you dyno in 6th? Just curious about the 55 lbs of boost. What rpm did you start the pull at? I tried to start all mine at 1500rpm. Without any boxs mine was around 390hp, guess that hotrod vp-44 works well. You can pm me the source a day before you post it if you want! Again congrats how many trucks are over 600 on vp44s? Tim where you using mach4s or 5s?
